Description:
This charming little pen knife features two blades and dark faux tortoise shell celluloid handles with nickel silver bolsters. Both blades are tang stamped A.W. Wadsworth & Sons / Germany, indicating manufacture in Solingen during the early 20th century—most likely the 1920s or 1930s.
Length (closed): Just under 3 inches
Blades: Pen and small clip point
Handle: Faux tortoise celluloid
Tang Stamp: A.W. Wadsworth & Sons / Germany
Construction: Brass liners, nickel silver bolsters and pins
The knife opens and closes smoothly with decent snap. There is some blade wear and patina consistent with age, but it remains a handsome piece with loads of character. A great find for collectors of early German or Kastor-related knives!
All knives in this shop are vintage or pre-owned unless stated otherwise. While many are in excellent condition, they may show normal signs of age or handling such as scuffs, blemishes, or blade wear. I try to document condition as accurately as possible in both the description and photos. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
