This handsome Case XX 62087 pocket knife was manufactured between 1940 and 1964, during what many collectors consider a golden era for Case knives. The "XX" tang stamp confirms the era, while the 62087 pattern marks it as a classic two-blade jack knife—a staple in the pockets of tradesmen, farmers, and everyday carry enthusiasts.
The handles feature rich, red jigged bone scales, nickel silver bolsters, and a CASE oval shield. Both blades open with descent snap and remain in solid working condition. There is a small stable crack below the center pin on the mark side handle—common in vintage bone scales and clearly pictured for transparency.

Historical Note for Collectors: Case knives bearing the “XX” tang stamp are prized for their hand-finishing process—each blade was “double tested” at the factory, resulting in the enduring “XX” symbol of quality. The 62087 pattern is a compact and elegant pocket companion with strong traditional roots.
Collector’s Note: Vintage knives like this one are more than tools—they’re slices of American history. Whether you're an EDC enthusiast, a collector, or gifting a piece of craftsmanship, this knife represents the durability and design of a bygone era.
