Description:
This vintage Ranger pocket knife features a bright yellow handle with the classic Ranger oval inlay shield on one side and the “grow” logo molded into the opposite side—likely a promotional or branded edition. It includes two stainless blades in good condition with good snap and no wobble. Both blades are tang stamped “RANGER” and “PATENT 3237803.”

A practical and collectible piece that reflects mid-century American manufacturing, this knife was likely produced by Imperial Schrade during the 1970s–1980s under the Ranger trademark—a brand once aimed at affordable, durable working knives for the everyday user.

Condition:
Blades open and close well. Handles show minor signs of use but no cracks. Bolsters have patina and wear consistent with age.

Approximate Length (closed): 3 5/8 inches

Historical Note:
Ranger knives were part of a larger wave of affordable utility knives produced in the post-war boom of American manufacturing. Their sturdy builds and cheerful handle colors made them a favorite among working-class Americans and scout-style users alike.

All knives in this shop are vintage or pre-owned unless stated otherwise. While many are in excellent condition, they may show normal signs of age or handling such as scuffs, blemishes, or blade wear. I try to document condition as accurately as possible in both the description and photos. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
